With the many car sterio installations
I have done, and have had done there are things you notice about
workmanship. Both good and poor quality. Below I have done reviews
for the top 3 retail installers, Best Buy, Circut City, and Tweeter.
Read, love, live.
$55
The saying goes, "You
get what you pay for." Well that is not alwayse so...as is
the case with Best Buy. Not even if you get the "free install".
Not to be fooled, it is only labor free, you still have to pay for
the parts, and in that instance could run you about $30 for a head
unit install. That includes wireing harness and Dash kit. As far
as workmanship goes, the job is usualy done...well, medeoker, and
it depends on who does it.Often times you are left with minor scraches
on your dash, with when you are paying someone to install something
is unacceptable. They are usualy relitivly fast workers, wich would
explain the scraches that aften occur. But if your lookin for fast
service and are not worried about your cars interior being scrached
then best buy is a good one to consider.
$55
As Circut City they are fairly good.
Quality is decent and they have not damaged anything thus far. <no
scraches to the dash> The price is the same as best buy for a
standard install and the parts are the same price as well. But you
get a much better job for your money. No scraches and better service.
They both have the same wait times for installs and to make appointments.
But it as said before, its a better job.
$45
And #1 is definatly tweeter.
They by far have the best installers of the bunch, use the best
quality parts, and have the cheapest price! Superb quality and at
the cheepest price, only $45 for a standard install. Of course again
that does not include parts. But their parts are the same price
as the other two, but of better quality and fit. So, on that note;
cheaper price, better quality...what more could an audiophile ask
for?! I say Tweeter all the way.
